With zero budget, yet an infinite amount of enthusiasm and commitment, we’re preparing an exciting program. This program consists of conversations, lectures, music, and work actions taking place on the island of Vis from September 8th to 11th, 2023

Coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the capitulation of Italian fascim and liberation of the island, the inaugural launch of ISSA will not only tackle the question and praxis of autonomy today but also address inquiries such as why we are starting a school on a remote island, what constitutes the “good life” in times of extinction, and how to build and construct a different future. Alongside contemplating and laying out the foundations of the School, we will be engaging in physical work and uncovering the secrets of the remote Adriatic island.

We will soon publish the full program. If you wish to be among the first to receive it, consider subscribing to our newsletter.
